FAQ

Answers to Commonly Asked Questions

How long does it take you to make one everlasting bonsai tree?

The time it takes to make a tree depends on size and complexity of design. A simple design may take a few days, while larger, more complex designs built in stages can take a week or longer.

Do you have a physical store?

We do not have a physical store. We do have a small stand at Town Peddler in Livonia Michigan where you can see some designs in person. We also participate in arts and crafts shows which will be updated on our events page in the near future.

Do you have a loyalty program?

At this time, we are not yet offering a loyalty program. Keep an eye out for special offers and discounts for both our online store and at arts shows.

How do you source your materials?

We source the gems and beads for our trees from U.S. base resellers. Our tree bases are sourced from items found in nature, at resale shops and estate sales, or sometimes from U.S. based small merchants. Materials for crochet items are all sourced new from U.S and Canadian sources.

How long does a custom order take?

We hate to say it, but it depends. We'll discuss what type of tree you're interested in having created. We'll sketch a concept or send pictures of similar ideas for you to select from. Once we decide on size, base, wire, gemstones/beads, accents, etc., we'll confirm the price with you. After we receive a 50% deposit we'll start constructing your one-of-a-kind tree which can take 7-14 days depending on complexity. Upon completion, we'll send you photos and an invoice for the remaining 50% of the price plus shipping. Once paid in full, we'll ship your new, amazing tree to you.

How do I unpack my tree?

Everlasting Bonsai are delicate but durable. Depending on the size of your tree, we'll protect it with everything from bubble wrap to double boxing large trees and wiring it to the inner box for stability. When you get your tree, gently remove it from the packing. Some wire branches may have shifted during shipping -- you can gently reposition the branches to the shape you desire.

How do I clean an Everlasting Bonsai?

You can gently wipe your tree and its base with a soft, damp cleaning cloth for a deep clean every 6 months. We do recommend regularly dusting your tree using a feather duster or similar-type duster for best results. Note that Swiffer-type dusters may get caught on the stones.
